Guelph Royals postponed in Kitchener

KITCHENER – The Guelph Royals had their Intercounty Baseball League game against the Kitchener Panthers Sunday at Kitchener’s Jack Couch Park postponed due to poor field conditions.

No make-up date has been announced.

The Royals were edged 5-4 by the Panthers Saturday at Hastings Stadium in the season opener for both teams.

The Royals have two games slated for the long weekend as they’re to host the Toronto Maple Leafs (1-1) Saturday at 1 p.m. at Hastings Stadium and they’re to play the Brantford Red Sox (1-0) at Brantford’s Anderson Stadium Sunday at 2 p.m.
