Guelph Silvercreeks doubled by Mississauga North One

GUELPH – The Guelph Silvercreeks were doubled 8-4 by the Mississauga North Tigers One squad in Central Ontario Baseball Association junior play Monday at Hastings Stadium.

The Creeks had jumped ahead early on a two-run double in the first inning by Noah MacKillop.

The loss leaves the Creeks at 10-4-0 in league play while Mississauga North One climbs to 6-1-0. The Tigers have four postponed games to make up and five games where the result has not been recorded on the league’s website.

The Creeks are to host the Simcoe Giants in a pair of seven-inning games Wednesday at Hastings Stadium. First game is to start at 7:30 p.m.

The locals are also to play Mississauga North Two at Mississauga Thursday night.
