
Guelph Storm doubled by Owen Sound
OWEN SOUND – The Guelph Storm were outscored by a single goal in each of the three periods as they were doubled 6-3 by the Owen Sound Attack in Ontario Hockey League play Saturday night at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
Owen Sound outscored their guests 2-1 in each period.

The Storm scored first in the game, but the lead lasted just over three minutes later to tie it. A goal at 8:31 of the second period, exactly a period after the Attack had first taken the lead, put the hosts ahead for good as the Storm had tied it early in the second.
Guelph had the gap down to a goal in the third period before Owen Sound scored twice in 40 seconds in the final eight minutes of the game, the second of those goals and last one of the game coming on a penalty shot.
Braeden Bowman, Jake Karabela and Brayden Guy scored the goals for Guelph while Danny Zhilkin had two assists and Cam Allen, Sasha Pastujov, Matthew Poitras and Daniil Chayka had one each.
Servac Petrovsky tallied twice for Owen Sound while single goals were netted by Deni Goure, Colby Barlow, Ethan Burroughs and Nicholas Porco. Sam Sedley assisted on three of the goals while Stepan Machacek and Taos Jordan had two each and Porco and Goure had one apiece.
The teams took 34 shots apiece and the Storm went 2-for-3 on their power play while the Attack went 2-for-6 on their power play. The Storm have had to use their penalty killers 11 times in the last two games.
Nick Chenard had 31 saves for Owen Sound while Owen Bennett had 28 for the Storm.
