Guelph United posts another shutout victory

WOODBRIDGE – Guelph United struck early and never looked back as they posted a 4-0 victory over Unionville Milliken S.C. in League1 Ontario Men’s Premier soccer Sunday night at the Ontario Soccer Stadium.

United scored twice in each half for their second consecutive shutout victory.

Milan Beader and John Greenhough hit for the goals in the first half while Jared Agyemang and Anthony Ostrun scored in the second half.

Carter Robart had the clean sheet in the Guelph net.

The result leaves United at 2-0-2 and Unionville Milliken at 0-5-1.

Next up for United is a game against the North Toronto Nitros (2-1-1) May 23 at 9 p.m. It’ll be their first game at the Centennial Bowl and is to follow a Women’s Premier game between Guelph Union (1-3-0) and Unionville Milliken S.C. (1-3-0) that is to start at 7 p.m.
