Ice issues in Saginaw force postponement of Storm game

SAGINAW, Mich. – The Guelph Storm’s weekend away turned out to be one game less than planned.

Saturday night’s scheduled Ontario Hockey League game between the Storm and Saginaw Spirit had to be postponed due to ice issues at Saginaw’s Dow Center.

It was to have been Saginaw’s Military Appreciation Night.

Exact details of the ice issues were not released and a make-up date has not been announced.

Next game for the Storm (7-4-1-2) is Friday when they’re to play the Kitchener Rangers (6-4-2-2) at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
