Junior Gryphs hit cliché time in atom AE2 final

GUELPH – It’s cliché time for the Guelph Junior Gryphons in the Ontario Minor Hockey Association’s atom AE2 championship series with the Barrie Junior Colts.

You know the ones. There’s no tomorrow. It’s now or never. It’s do or die.

The Junior Gryphs find themselves behind 5-1 in the six-point final following Barrie’s 2-1 victory Friday night at the West End arena.

Game 4 of the series is scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m. at Barrie’s Allandale Recreation Centre.

The Junior Gryphs must win to keep the series going.

If the locals win, Game 5 of the series is set for March 30 at 5 p.m. at the West End arena.

If Guelph wins that one, too, the sixth and deciding game of the series is to go March 31 at 1 p.m. at Barrie.
