Laundry fourth in Ironman 70.3 Steelhead triathlon

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. – Jackson Laundry of Guelph finished Sunday’s Maytag Ironman 70.3 Steelhead triathlon fourth overall.

Laundry, a member of the local Team LPC triathlon group, finished the event in three hours, 55 minutes and 32.0 seconds.

Eric Lagerstrom of Gresham, Ore., won in 3:48:02.0 while Andrew Starkowicz of Wauconda, Ill., was second in 3:51:40.0.

Finishing third was Igor Amorelli of Brazil in 3:52:15.0.

Taylor Reid of the Guelph Triathlon Project was 18th overall in 4:15:19.0.

Laundry was the top Canadian finisher while Mikael Staer Nathan of Toronto was second Canadian finisher, 11th overall in 4:06:55.0, Simon Berner Lalonde was third Canadian, 13th overall in 4:11:33.0 and Reid of Caledon was fourth Canadian finisher.
