Lions stretch girls’ hockey streak to three games with tie

GUELPH – The St. James Lions stretched their undefeated streak in the District 10 high school girls’ hockey league to three games with a 4-4 tie with the Bishop Macdonell Celtics Monday at the Victoria Road arena.

St. James received a pair of goals from Caitlan Krasinski and one each from Faith Lang and Shannon Green.

Kendall Cummings, Julia Tonin, Morgan Boudreau and Chantel Puzic responded with single goals for Bishop Mac.


Guelph CVI 0 Centennial 0

The teams battled to a scoreless tie at Centennial arena.

No details were reported.

It was the league’s fourth scoreless tie this season and the second for both GCVI and Centennial.
