
Lourdes, Ross, Centennial record second hoops wins
GUELPH – The three teams that posted victories in District 10 high school senior boys’ basketball league play Thursday also had wins in their season-opening games two days earlier.
Lourdes Crusaders, Ross Royals and Centennial Spartans each recorded their second wins of the season and the week.
Lourdes 69 St. James 40
Simon Porcellto led the Crusaders with a game-high 26 points while Abraham O. had 11.
Caleb Holman collected 17 points for St. James while Tanner G. added seven.

Centennial 58 Orangeville 23
Quinn Forster and Thomas Everitt each had 12 points for Centennial while Efieson Tesfamariam chipped in with 10.
Pierre Pietr had 12 for Orangeville.

Carlos Coronado sparked Centennial with 16 points while Jack Gibbs added seven.
Jisiah Guthrie had a game-high 17 points for Orangeville while C. Woods had 10.
St. James 75 Lourdes 47
Peyton Cummings collected 13 points for St. James while P.J. Fera had 11 and Nickolas Melehes picked up nine.
Josh Skelhorn had 21 for Lourdes and Jackson McGarr collected 13.
