Orangeville Bears move on to boys hockey semifinals
ORANGEVILLE – The Orangeville Bears skated to a 5-2 victory over their cross-town rivals, the Westside Thunder, in District 4/10 high school boys’ hockey playoff action Wednesday at the Tony Rose arena.
The win gave Orangeville a berth in the league’s semifinals.
With the win the Bears are to host the Bishop Macdonell Celtics Thursday at 1 p.m. at Tony Rose arena in Orangeville.
The other semifinal pits the Ross Royals against the Centre Wellington Falcons at the Centre Wellington Sportsplex in Fergus Thursday at 3 p.m.
Winners advance to next week’s final.
