Orangeville wraps up first-place finish in senior soccer
GUELPH – The Orangeville Bears clinched a first-place finish in the District 10 high school senior boys’ soccer league by edging the St. James Lions 3-2 at St. James Thursday.
The win kept the Bears undefeated at 6-0-0 with one game to go in their regular season.
The Centennial Spartans are second at 4-2-0 and Ross Royals third at 3-2-1.
Andrew Paolucci hit for a pair of goals for Orangeville while Cole Murray scored the other one.
Kean Lam had the goal for St. James.

Gatlang Puot Riek Deng scored all three goals for Ross.
Francisco Ortiz tallied for Centennial.
Bishop Macdonell 1 Guelph CVI 0
Bishop Mac won by forfeit.
Centre Wellington 3 Lourdes 3
Nathan Vanderstoop led Centre Wellington with a pair of goals while Atlas Ngyen also scored.
Tyler Schell, Bereket Ezra and Noah Gabrahanes each had a goal for Lourdes.
Junior
Centennial 6 Ross 2
Timor Beg, Oscar Kim and Ali Syed each scored twice for Centennial.
Ross received goals from David Aggyare Tabbi and Jefferson Brown.
