OSL Provincial West Gryphons get first point for stalemate

The Guelph Gryphons picked up their first point of the Ontario Soccer League’s Provincial West season Sunday when they battled Panathinaikos Toronto FC to a scoreless draw at L’Amoreaux Park in Scarborough.

Daniel Kerr collected the shutout for the Gryphons.

Seper Saidali had the clean sheet for Panathinaikos.

The result leaves the Gryphons at 0-3-1 and Panathinaikos at 2-0-2.

Next game for the Gryphons is a home match Sept. 9 against Lakeshore United (0-2-0) at the Centennial Bowl. Game time is 8:30 p.m.
