OSL Regional West Royals nipped by Hamilton Serbians

GUELPH – The Guelph Royals suffered a 3-1 loss to Hamilton Serbians in Ontario Soccer League Regional West play Thursday night at Centennial Bowl.

Adriano Marques, Aleksa Markovic and Mike Gavrilos each had a goal for the visitors.

Brett King netted the lone goal for the Royals.

The Serbians also won the yellow-card battle, taking four to one for the locals.

The result leaves the Serbians atop the league at 2-0-0 while the Royals have lost both of their league outings.

The Royals are to play the Bradford Wolves at Bradford’s Henderson Park Friday at 9 p.m.
