GUELPH – If not for 15 seconds of the second period, the Guelph Gryphons and Nipissing Lakers would’ve needed overtime and possibly more to decide a winner in their OUA women’s hockey game at the Gryphon Centre Saturday afternoon.
But the Lakers scored twice in the first 67 seconds of the middle frame to claim a 2-0 victory.
Nipissing Lakers 2 Guelph Gryphons 0
