Ross hockey boys get out of town for another victory

MOUNT FOREST – The Ross Royals struck for another road victory as they doubled the Wellington Heights Wolverines 6-3 in District 4/10 high school boys’ hockey play Tuesday at the Mount Forest and District Sports Complex.

It was the second victory for Ross who opened the season with a win over the Westside Thunder at Orangeville.

Adam Nightingale had a pair of goals for the Royals while Calvin Fogler had a goal and two assists. Noah Van Dam, Carter Phillips and Jacob Caldwell also scored.

Jack Weiser tallied twice for the Wolverines while Jake Verbeek also scored and Brody Leblanc assisted on all three goals.
