Ross Royals, Centre Wellington post girls’ hockey wins

GUELPH – The Ross Royals and Centre Wellington Falcons remained unbeaten in the District 10 high school girls’ hockey league as both recorded victories Thursday.

 

Ross 6 St. James 0

Olivia Sarabura scored a pair of goals for Ross while the other ones were netted by Kiley Rowsell, Vanessa Ward, Taylor Doyle and Olivia Smith. Claire Kelterborn assisted on three of the goals while Avery Lomax and Emma Walker each had two assists and Ward and Doyle had one apiece.

Charly Finoro picked up the shutout.

 

Centre Wellington 2 Centennial 1

Centre Wellington’s goals were scored by Natalie Beilhartz and Kara Den Hoed while Erin Sinclair and Alwynn Mackie each had an assist.

Cassie Tonin hit for Centennial’s goal with assists going to Kiera Lylyk and Kaitlyn Reimer.
