Ross Royals climb above .500 in senior soccer
GUELPH – The Ross Royals moved over the .500 winning percentage mark as they defeated the Bishop Macdonell Celtics 5-2 in District 10 high school senior boys’ soccer play Friday.
Gatlang Puot Riek Deng had a hat trick for Ross while Axel Koenig-Parris added a pair of goals.
Joe Raso netted both goals for Bishop Mac.
Orangeville Bears lead the league at 6-0-0 while the Centennial Spartans are at 4-2-0 and Ross is at 3-2-1. Bishop Mac is at 3-3-0. GCVI trails at 1-3-2.

Francisco Ortiz hit for a trio of goals for Centennial while single goals were netted by Erik Panariti and Ethan Glascott.
Ben Durbin and Rohin Orbinski scored for GCVI.

Centennial 4 Guelph CVI 3
Timor Beg hit for two goals while Oskar Kim and Ali Syed fired home one apiece for Centennial.
GCVI received two goals from Quinn Moffitt and one from Kiyan Ladhani.
