BRANTFORD – The Ross Royals saw their season come to an end when they suffered a 41-20 loss to the host Assumption Lions in CWOSSA high school football quarter-final play Thursday night at the Gretzky Sports Complex.

The Royals scored first, but Assumption came back to shoot ahead 17-7 by halftime on a snowy, cold night.
