Ross Royals place first in senior, junior rugby

GUELPH — The District 10 high school senior boys’ rugby league finished its regular season with a pair of games Wednesday.

Ross Royals defeated Erin Raiders 20-0 to finish atop the standings at 4-0. Centennial defeated Centre Dufferin by forfeit and finished second at 3-1. Guelph CVI Green Gaels were third at 2-2 while Centre Dufferin Royals were third at 2-2. Centre Dufferin was fourth at 1-3 and Erin fifth at 0-4.

Junior Boys

Ross also finished atop the junior league standings at 4-0-0 while Centre Wellington Falcons were second at 2-1-1, Erin Raiders third at 2-2-0, Centre Dufferin Royals fourth at 1-2-1 and GCVI fifth at 0-4-0.

Isaac led Ross with 18 points while Marcus added 10 and Jack and Evan each had seven. Getting five apiece were Tim, Carter and Brennan. Drew, Jonathon, Brayden, Cohen, Mason and Cassie each had two.
