Ross rugby girls remain unbeaten with win over Bears

GUELPH – The Ross Royals remained undefeated in District 4/10 high school girls’ rugby play on a wet Tuesday with a 38-5 victory over the Orangeville Bears at Ross.

The Royals opened the scoring with a pair of tries in the early going, the second one coming on a long scamper down the right side of the field following a turnover deep in their own end.

S. Brown had two tries and a convert for Ross while D. Eddy kicked three converts. A. Sarabura, K. Bruce and B. Pembleton each had one try.

Orangeville’s scorer was not reported.
