Ross topples Centre Dufferin in boys’ hockey’s Battle of the Royals

SHELBURNE—The Ross Royals won the District 4/10 high school boys’ hockey league’s Battle of the Royals when they dropped the Centre Dufferin Royals 11-1 at the Centre Dufferin Recreation Complex Thursday.

The Sneddens, Callum and Connor, collected four points apiece for Ross as Callum Snedden had three goals and an assist and Connor had two goals and two assists. Noah Van Dam also scored twice while Chris Cabeldu and Dylan Hudon each added single goals. Scorers of the other two goals were not reported.

Riley Muliss had a single goal for Centre Dufferin.

The result leaves Ross at 4-1-0-0 and Centre Dufferin at 2-3-0-0.
