Royals, Lions secure home playoff games in girls’ soccer

GUELPH – The Ross Royals and St. James Lions locked up home games in District 10 high school girls’ soccer’s quarter-finals following Thursday’s games at the Gryphon Soccer Complex.

Ross has been perfect in league play, winning all six of their matches and surrendering a single goal in the process.

St. James had four wins and a loss with a game Thursday against the Guelph CVI Green Gaels still to be taken into account. Whatever that result, the Lions can’t be knocked out of a top-four finish and the top four will host quarter-final matches next Thursday.
