Hespeler collected a power-play goal to pull even with just under seven minutes to go, but the hosts hit for the game-winner the just less than three and a half minutes to play.

The two teams are tied for fourth in the seven-team Doherty Division along with the Tavistock Braves. All have 1-2-0-0 records.

The Shamrocks are to play their third game in five days Sunday when they’re to host the Wellesley Applejacks (2-0-0-0) at the Hespeler Memorial Arena. Game time is 3 p.m.
