St. Catharines squares series as Regals fade in third

GUELPH – Just when it looked like the Guelph Regals were going to take a stranglehold lead in their Ontario Junior B Lacrosse League Western Conference quarter-final playoff series with the St. Catharines Athletics Monday at the Victoria Road arena, the hosts couldn’t buy a goal.

The Regals were held scoreless in the third period as St. Catharines rallied for a 9-8 victory to tie the best-of-five series at a win apiece.
