St. James girls start hockey season with win, too

GUELPH – The St. James Lions also opened their District 10 high school girls’ hockey season with a win Thursday as they tripled the Guelph CVI Green Gaels 6-2 at Exhibition arena.

Teighan McDonald led the Lions with a hat trick while Maddie Lawson scored twice.

Sierra Oliver and Farah Kapasi scored for GCVI.
