Storm’s winning streak halted by Saginaw

Saginaw scored the only goal of the first period and extended their lead to 3-0 by the 13-minute mark of the second before the Storm narrowed the gap to 3-2 by the end of the period. The Spirit restored its two-goal advantage in the opening minute of the third and the Storm got that one back just under seven minutes later. Saginaw completed the scoring with an empty-netter with 27 seconds to go.
