Unbeaten Thunder connects for D4 soccer title

SHELBURNE – The Westside Thunder of Orangeville struck to capture the District 4 high school varsity boys’ soccer championship Thursday, finishing the season as they had started it with a shutout victory over the Centre Dufferin Royals of Shelburne.

Playing as the home team on the Centre Dufferin Royals’ field Thursday, the Thunder blanked the Royals 5-0 in the final.

The Thunder had opened their season with a 3-0 win over the Royals Oct. 13.
