Union completes unbeaten run through inaugural season

GUELPH – A pair of goals in the first half powered Guelph Union to a 2-0 victory over Vaughan Azzurri B in League1 Ontario Women’s Championship soccer play at Alumni Stadium Sunday.

The game was delayed by lightning in the second half.

Brooke Davidson picked up the shutout.

Union won all six of their games in the COVID-shortened season, their first in L1O, and they outscored their opponents by a total of 17-1.
