Union reserves clout ProStars in first home game

GUELPH – Guelph Union ran to a 5-0 victory over ProStars FC of Brampton in League1 Ontario Women’s Reserve play Friday night at the Gryphon Soccer Complex.

The win pushes Union to top spot in the 10-team West Division with a 3-0-1 record. They’re the only unbeaten team in the division.

The game was the first home match for Union who had previously beaten Whitecaps London 1-0 and BVB IA Waterloo 2-0 and tied FC London 1-1.

Union returns to the road this week with a Saturday game against Tecumseh FC at Tecumseh Vista Academy at 3 p.m.
