Union reserves drop Waterloo for another road win

WATERLOO – Guelph Union made it two wins in as many outings in League1 Ontario Women’s Reserve soccer play Wednesday when they defeated BVB IA Waterloo 2-0 at RIM Park.

A week earlier Union had edged Whitecaps London 1-0 at London’s Citywide Park.

Sierra Palermo scored in the 18th minute and Christina Alexander had the shutout.

Union are to return to London’s Citywide Park Monday for a match against FC London while their first home game is slated for May 27 when they’re to host ProStars FC at the Gryphon Soccer Complex. Game time is 9 p.m.
