Union to finish their first season in first place following win

Guelph Union clinched a first-place finish in their first season in the League1 Ontario women’s championship division with a 3-0 victory over Unionville Milliken SC Tuesday night at Bill Crothers Park in Unionville.

The win was the fifth in as many outings in league play.

Scoring details were not available.

Union has outscored its opponents 15-1.

Unionville fell to 2-3-1 with the loss.

Union is to wrap up their season with a game against Vaughan Azzurri B Sunday at 7 p.m. at Alumni Stadium.

Azzurri B is second in the standings at 3-1-1.
