
United B comes back to knot Rush Academy
OAKVILLE – A goal early in the second half lifted Guelph United FC B to a 1-1 standoff with Rush Academy in League1 Ontario Men’s Reserve play Wednesday at Bronte Park.
Ziad Azmy gave Rush Academy the lead when he scored with nine minutes to go in the opening half.

Owen McKee pulled United B even six minutes into the second half.
Leighton Jull picked up the tie in the United B net while Rush Academy had Jake Findley in net.
The goal was McKee’s league-leading ninth of the season.
United B leads the West Division at 7-1-3 and are a point ahead of FC London B who are at 7-2-2. Hamilton United is third at 6-3-2 and are followed by St. Catharines Roma Wolves B at 3-4-5, Rush Academy at 4-5-2, ProStars Brampton FC C at 2-6-2 and Tecumseh SC B at 0-8-2.
United B is to wrap up its regular season Oct. 30 with a game against Tecumseh at the University of Windsor stadium. Game time is 2 p.m.
