Visitors are road warriors in D4 senior girls’ basketball

MOUNT FOREST — Monday wasn’t a good day for the home teams in District 4 high school senior girls’ basketball play as all three games were won by the visiting squad.

The Erin Raiders made it two slim wins in as many outings as they slipped by the Wellington Heights Wolverines 33-30.

The Raiders won by two points at home last week in their season opener.

Taylor Paquette hit for 12 points Monday while Alisha Lorincz added seven.

Marissa Cottingham had a game-high 17 points for Wellington Heights and Rebekah Sales contributed five.

 

Emmanuel Christian 26 Norwell 13

Stefanie Kuizenga netted 11 points for Emmanuel Christian.

Kelsey Walker had seven for Norwell.

 

Westside 31 Centre Dufferin 16

Leah Vanderbyl connected for 16 points for Westside and Jaime Wright had seven.

Taylor Bury had six for Centre Dufferin.

 

Junior

Centre Dufferin 67 Westside 13

Franny McGowan led Centre Dufferin with a 20-point outing while Alexis Leid had 13 and Maclean and Jackson each had eight.

Duhra had six for Westside.

Wellington Heights 30 Erin 9

E. Rooney had 12 points for Wellington Heights and G. Dafoe chipped in with six.
