Westside grabs sole possession of top spot in senior hoops

ORANGEVILLE — The Westside Thunder moved to the top of the District 4 high school senior girls’ basketball league with a 53-29 victory over the Erin Raiders Thursday.

Details were not reported.

The Thunder tops the league at 4-1, but has played one game more than runner-up Centre Dufferin Royals (3-1) and the Emmanuel Christian Eagles and Wellington Heights Wolverines who are tied for third at 2-2. Erin is fifth at 2-3 and the Norwell Varsity Reds are sixth at 0-4.
