Westside takes two in girls’ basketball play

FERGUS – The Westside Thunder swept a pair of District 4 high school girls’ basketball games from the host Emmanuel Christian Eagles Thursday.

The Thunder won the senior match 42-25 and Westside took the junior game 43-30.

Scoring details for the senior game were not reported.

G. Gerrits had 10 points for the Westside juniors while Naomi Meerstra had eight for Emmanuel Christian.
