Wolverines hockey girls get two wins, tie at home
MOUNT FOREST – The Wellington Heights Wolverines struck for two wins and a tie during District 4 high school girls’ hockey play Thursday at the Mount Forest and District Sports Complex.
The Wolverines defeated the Norwell Varsity Reds 3-0 and Erin Raiders 5-2 and they battled the Centre Dufferin Royals to a 2-2stalemate.
Norwell leads the league at 4-1-1-0 while the Wolverines are second at 3-2-1, Westside Thunder third at 1-0-2, Centre Dufferin fourth at 0-1-2 and Erin next at 0-4-2.

Lexi Walker and Hailey Farnell each scored a goal for Wellington Heights while the other scorer was unavailable.
Centre Dufferin 2 Erin 2
Delaney Martin and Morgan Bennington had a goal apiece for Centre Dufferin.
Morgan Sadler scored both goals for Erin.
Wellington Heights 5 Erin 2
Gade, Rooney, McRobb, Flanagan and Pacheco each had a goal for Wellington Heights.
Morgan Sadler again scored both goals for Erin.
