Wolverines remain perfect in senior hoops play

MOUNT FOREST – The Wellington Heights Wolverines remained undefeated in District 4 high school senior girls’ basketball play Monday as they handed the Westside Thunder a 30-25 setback.

The win was the seventh in as many league outings for the Wolverines.

Leah Richardson had 17 points for Wellington Heights while Jessica Burnside netted seven for Westside.

The Erin Raiders are second in the standings at 6-1 and are followed by the Emmanuel Christian Eagles at 4-3, Centre Dufferin Royals at 3-4, Westside at 1-6 and the Norwell Varsity Reds at 0-7.
