Wolverines, Varsity Reds stay unbeaten in senior volleyball
MOUNT FOREST – The Wellington Heights Wolverines and Norwell Varsity Reds both remained unbeaten with their second wins of the District 4 high school senior girls’ volleyball season Wednesday.
Wellington Heights edged the Emmanuel Christian Eagles 2-1 and Norwell swept the Erin Raiders 3-0.
Wellington Heights defeated Emmanuel Christian 12-25, 28-26, 23-25, 25-18, 16-14 while Norwell beat Erin 25-15, 25-14, 25-13.
The loss was the first of the season for Emmanuel Christian as the Eagles are now at 2-1. Erin is at 1-2 while the Centre Dufferin Royals and Westside Thunder are both at 0-1 and the College Heights Huskies are at 0-2.
