Centre Dufferin seniors win twice in volleyball mini tourney

SHELBURNE — The Centre Dufferin Royals remained undefeated in District 4 high school senior boys’ volleyball play through scored reported by mid-morning Thursday from the league’s regular-season mini tournament at Centre Dufferin Wednesday.

The Royals lead at 4-0 while the Wellington Heights Wolverines are at 1-0. Emmanuel Christian Eagles and Westside Thunder are both at 1-1 while the Erin Raiders are at 1-4 and the Norwell Varsity Reds are at 0-2.

The standings will be adjusted when the scores from two matches Wednesday are reported.

Next week’s mini tournament is to go at Norwell in Palmerston Wednesday.

Emmanuel Christian and Westside are both at 2-0 in the junior loop following Wednesday’s games while Centre Dufferin’s at 2-2 and Norwell and Wellington Heights are both at 0-2.
