Centre Dufferin takes boys’ hockey playoff opener
SHELBURNE – The Centre Dufferin Royals posted a 4-1 win over the Erin Raiders in District 4/10 high school boys’ hockey playoff action Monday at the Centre Dufferin Recreation Complex.
Scoring details were not reported.
Centre Dufferin finished eighth in the nine-team league at 2-9-1-0 (W-L-T-OTL) while Erin was ninth at 1-10-0-1.
With the win, Centre Dufferin advances to play the first-place Ross Royals (11-1-0-0) in the quarter-finals. They’re to play Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Victoria Road arena.
