Centre Wellington, Ross undefeated in D10 girls’ hockey

GUELPH – The Centre Wellington Falcons moved into top spot in the District 10 high school girls’ hockey league standings after posting a 6-0 victory over the Centennial Spartans at Centennial arena this week.

The Falcons lead as they’ve played one more game than the Ross Royals and both teams have been winners each time out.

In other games in the last week and a half, Centre Wellington downed the St. James Lions 7-0, Centennial doubled the Orangeville Bears 6-3 and Orangeville dropped St. James 13-0.

Centre Wellington leads at 4-0-0-0 while Ross is second at 3-0-0-0, Orangeville is third at 2-3-0-0, Centennial fourth at 1-3-0-0 and St. James fifth at 0-4-0-0.
