Eagles connect for first win of senior soccer season

FERGUS – The Emmanuel Christian Eagles struck for their first victory of the District 4 high school senior boys’ soccer season Wednesday when they handed the Centre Dufferin Royals a 3-1 setback at Victoria Park.

Kevin Kottelenberg, Joe Kottelenberg and Devon Vis hit for a goal apiece for the Eagles.

Jayden Jeffrey scored for Centre Dufferin.

Norwell Varsity Reds lead the league at 3-1-0 while Centre Dufferin’s at 2-2-0 and the Erin Raiders are at 1-1-0. Emmanuel Christian and Westside Thunder are tied at 1-2-0.
