SHELBURNE – The Emmanuel Christian Eagles secured a finishing spot in the top two in the six-team District 4 high school senior girls’ basketball league as they slipped by the Centre Dufferin Royals 35-31 at Centre Dufferin Wednesday.

Westside Thunder lead the league at 8-1 and are followed by Emmanuel Christian at 7-2, Centre Dufferin at 5-3, Erin Raiders at 4-6, Norwell Varsity Reds at 2-8 and Wellington Heights Wolverines at 0-6.
