Erin joins Norwell at top of senior soccer league

FERGUS – The Erin Raiders jumped into a tie for first place in the District 4 high school senior boys’ soccer league Friday with a 3-1 victory over the Emmanuel Christian Eagles at Victoria Park.

Lucas Ferreira, Kyle Santogrosso and Reme Emini struck for a goal apiece for Erin.

Isaac Spanninga had the goal for Emmanuel Christian

The Raiders and Norwell Varsity Reds are knotted atop the league with 3-1-0 records while the Centre Dufferin Royals are next at 2-2-1. Westside Thunder are at 1-2-1 and Emmanuel Christian trails at 1-4-0.
