Erin Outlaws knocked out of playoffs by Ripley Wolves

ERIN – The Erin Outlaws were swept from the Ontario Elite Hockey League quarter-final playoffs Sunday following an 11-2 loss to the Ripley Wolves at the Centre 2000 arena.

Ripley led 4-1 at the end of the first period and 7-2 at the end of the second.

The result gave the Wolves a 4-0 win in the best-of-seven series.

Travis Brown scored both goals for Erin while Jacob Miller had two assists. Mike Kri and Lucas Schott each had one assist.

Dan Nicoloff had three goals and two assists for Ripley while Jarred Colling had two goals and two assists and Garrett Meurs had two goals and an assist. Gerrit Satosek, Cody Britton and Kaden Hoggarth each had a goal and two assists. Jakob Reeves had a goal and an assist while Tyson Soers had three assists and Logan Swanton and Brett Catto each had one assist.

The Outlaws outshot Ripley 35-33 and had a shorthanded goal while Ripley had two power-play goals.
