Erin Raiders shoot to first in senior boys’ soccer

ORANGEVILLE – The Erin Raiders moved to the top of the District 4 high school senior boys’ soccer league standings Friday with a 5-2 victory over the Westside Thunder.

Christian Spear collected a pair of goals for Erin while single goals were added by Lucas Ferriera, Mathew McMillan and Logan Quaresma-Puzzo.

Westside received goals from Alex Lamb and Anthony Hormazabal.

With a week to go in the regular season, Erin leads at 4-1-1 while the Norwell Varsity Reds are second at 4-2-0 and are followed by the Centre Dufferin Royals at 3-2-1, Emmanuel Christian Eagles at 2-5-0 and Westside at 1-4-2.
