Guelph Royals blanked in second round of OSL Open Cup

Guelph Royals were handed a 3-0 setback to the Barrie Blazers in Ontario Soccer League Open Cup men’s play Thursday at the Zanchin Automotive Soccer Centre Stadium in Woodbridge.

The game was a second-round match as both teams had byes in the opening round.

Victor Frohmann, Ethan Lay and Gabriel Soares scored for Barrie.

Zack Fraser picked up the shutout.
