Guelph Royals shut out Peniche CC

Guelph Royals struck for their first win of the season as they blanked Peniche CC 4-0 Thursday night at Centennial Bowl.

Daniel Keir collected the clean sheet for the hosts.

Liam Robertson scored two of the goals while Liam Goldman and Santiago Almada had the other goals.

Next up for the Royals is a stretch of three consecutive road games as they’re to play Olimpia next Friday in Mississauga at 9 p.m., Hrvat St. Catharines at St. Catharines July 8 at 8:45 p.m. and Vaughan Azzurri at Maple July 16 at 9 p.m.
