Guelph United battle FC London to standoff

Guelph United yielded a goal with three minutes remaining in regulation time as they settled for a 1-1 draw with FC London Friday night at London’s Tricar Field.

Gamtessa Berehe scored for United with three minutes to go in the opening half.

Dan Morgan netted the equalizer for London FC.

Next up for United is a game against North Mississauga SC Friday at 9 p.m. at Mississauga’s Mattamy Sports Park.

Guelph United B and Waterloo United B also battled to a tie – a 1-1 deadlock Monday at Waterloo’s RIM Park.

Both goals were second-half tallies with Sagar Singh scoring for Guelph in the 64^th minute and Danny Vedinas replying for Waterloo eight minutes later.

Guelph United B is to play Burlington SC B at Burlington’s City View Park Monday at 9 p.m.
