Guelph United L2 Men clout St. Catharines Roma

Guelph United scored four times in the first 20 minutes as they clobbered St. Catharines Roma 7-1 in League1 Ontario L2 Men soccer play Friday at Eastview Park.

United opened the scoring in the first minute and led 4-0 at halftime.

Yuki Ibie scored twice in the first 10 minutes for the locals and he finished the game with a hat trick. Gregor McKeon added two goals two minutes apart while the other goals were scored by Adrian Andrasic and Axel Koenig-Parris.

Romero Nicolazzo scored for St. Catharines in the 71st minute.

Jake Findlay was in net for United.

 

U20 Men

Guelph United was edged 1-0 by the Woodbridge Strikers Friday at Vaughan Grove Park.

Adriano Colangelo had the game’s lone goal with a tally in the 53rd minute.

Samuel Schafer was in net for United while Nathan Shull had the shutout for Woodbridge.
